The Edmonton Oilers got some good news Tuesday as forward Matt Fraser has been cleared to return to game-action.
The 24-year-old has been out of the lineup since March 16 after suffering a concusion from a blind-side hit by Toronto Maple Leafs forward Nazem Kadri. Kadri was subsequently suspended four games for the hit.
Fraser has missed the team's last three games, but took the ice at practice Tuesday and will be available Wednesday when the Oilers welcome the Colorado Avalanche.
Fraser has six goals and 10 points in 52 games.
