Nazem Kadri will have to atone for his tardiness.
The Toronto Maple Leafs forward will be a scratch Monday versus the New York Islanders a day after being sent home from practice for arriving late to a team meeting, according to various reports.
Kadri was met by a scrum of reporters after putting in added work following the Maple Leafs' morning skate, admitting he slept in and has apologized to the coaching staff and his teammates.
Brandon Kozun will draw into Peter Horachek's lineup.
