Lightning place Nabokov on waivers, recall Vasilevskiy

The Tampa Bay Lightning have placed veteran netminder Evgeni Nabokov on waivers.
Nabokov, 39, has struggled in support of starter Ben Bishop, authoring a 3-6-2 record and woeful .882 save percentage.
The team confirmed the move on Sunday afternoon. It was initially reported by Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman.
The first-place Lightning have an NHL-ready prospect in Andrei Vasilevskiy - head coach Jon Cooper's preferred choice when Bishop was battling injury - waiting in the wings.
Vasilevskiy has been recalled, the club announced Sunday.
