The Anaheim Ducks retired Selanne's jersey at the end of a 90-minute ceremony honoring his incredible career. It was a touching conclusion to an emotional event, as Selanne and his family watched his jersey ascend to the rafters while the packed arena gave him a standing ovation.

The Finnish Flash delivered a stirring retirement speech earlier in the ceremony, thanking his family, the Ducks, the Winnipeg Jets, all of his former teammates, and his former agent Don Baizley, who passed away and was represented by an empty chair.

The Ducks also prepared a lengthy video tribute to Selanne, highlighting his many accomplishments and some of his more memorable moments.

Selanne's jersey is the first one to be retired by the Ducks.
