Maple Leafs' Lupul leaves arena on crutches; will return home from road trip

The Toronto Maple Leafs will once again be without forward Joffrey Lupul on their upcoming road trip and possibly beyond after he suffered a lower-body injury Wednesday versus the Boston Bruins.
Lupul left the #Leafs dressing room with crutches, departing the Garden. He's headed to Toronto, not Minnesota, for a MRI (lower body).

The oft-injured Lupul was involved in an awkward collision in the second period and hobbled straight to the locker room.
