Ducks' Perry practices, will be 'game-time decision at all times' until return

Anaheim Ducks forward Corey Perry took the ice for practice Monday, but when he'll return to game action remains anyone's guess.

Head coach Bruce Boudreau said he doesn't want to rush his star right winger back too soon, calling Perry a "game-time decision at all times" until he plays.

"We keep thinking he’s ready, but until his mindset is that he’s ready to play, I want to hold out and wait until he’s 100 percent," Boudreau said.

Perry suffered a sprained knee after being hit by Minnesota Wild defenseman Keith Ballard on Dec. 5.

“You can’t be playing (around) with those things,” Boudreau added. “We always used to call our legs our moneymakers. With Corey, it’s his legs, hands and head. They’re all moneymakers for him because he uses them so well. It’s something we don’t want to screw around with.”

Perry has been limited to 23 games due to the knee injury and a bout with the mumps virus. He has 14 goals and eight assists.
