A trial date is set for Slava Voynov, who faces one felony count of domestic assault.
The Kings defenseman pleaded not guilty during a Los Angeles-area court appearance Monday, and the proceedings will begin March 2 following a pretrial hearing Jan. 28, according to Rich Hammond of the Orange County Register.
The 24-year-old is accused of punching, kicking and choking his wife during Oct. 19 incidents at a party and at the couple's home.
Voynov is set to miss his 31st consecutive game due to a suspension announced after the defenseman was initially charged.
