Lightning's Bishop leaves game Monday with lower-body injury; did not return

Tampa Bay Lightning goaltender Ben Bishop left Monday night's game against the Pittsburgh Penguins in the second period under mysterious circumstances.
The Lightning announced that Bishop sustained a lower-body injury and will not return to the contest .
Bishop, 28, was a Vezina nominee for his otherwordly performance during the 2013-14 season. This year his numbers have been more pedestrian, but he's still amassed a sterling 16-6-2 record, while stopping 91.4 percent of shots faced.
