Scott Gomez scores 1st with Devils in nearly 8 years

Scott Gomez's turbulent NHL career has now officially come full circle. 

He scored his first goal of the season and his first in nearly eight years in a New Jersey Devils uniform Saturday in the waning moments of a 4-3 loss to the Dallas Stars. 

Of course, Gomez has made stops in New York, Montreal, San Jose and Florida since the Rangers gave him 51.5 million reasons to bolt the team he won two Stanley Cups with. 

Gomez has just 58 goals since his last with the Devils on March 28, 2007.
