Josh Harding makes 50 saves for Iowa Wild in 1st start in 11 months
Josh Harding made 50 saves for Minnesota Wild's AHL affiliate in Iowa, but came away with a 5-4 shootout loss in his first professional start in nearly a calendar year.
Harding was shut down shortly after his start on Dec. 31 start last season after experiencing complications with his treatment for multiple sclerosis.
A broken foot suffered in the off-season delayed the start of his season, and contributed to the Wild placing Harding on waivers last week after he became eligible to come off injured reserve.
