Canucks' Horvat to remain with NHL club this season

Vancouver Canucks prospect Bo Horvat won't be heading back to junior before the first year of his entry-level contract kicks in.

Horvat has played in eight games for the Canucks this season, registering one goal and three assists. The trio of helpers came in Sunday's 4-1 win over the Chicago Blackhawks.
The 19-year-old has an even-strength Corsi For percentage of 46.6, according to War-On-Ice.com, albeit in a small sample size.
He was selected ninth overall by Vancouver in the 2013 draft.
