Friday's game between the Buffalo Sabres and New York Rangers at First Niagara Center has been postponed due to inclement weather, the league announced Thursday.
No makeup date was announced.
The Sabres played amid weather concerns on Tuesday night, defeating the San Jose Sharks 4-1 in a near-empty arena as a snow storm ravaged western New York.
It's the first postponement of a Rangers game in nearly 17 years.
Per #NYR, last Ranger PPD was Jan. 10, 1998 at Montreal, due to weather. Game was finally played March 12, 1998.
