Ryan Miller became the 30th NHL goaltender to reach 300 career victories when he made 29 saves to lead the Vancouver Canucks past the Carolina Hurricanes on Tuesday.
The 34-year-old improved to 6-1-0 in seven starts with the Canucks. He won 284 games in parts of 11 seasons with the Buffalo Sabres and 10 in 19 games with the St. Louis Blues last season. He credits his teammates and the longevity of his career for reaching the milestone.
