Nurse was returned to his junior team at OHL Sault Ste. Marie on Friday.

Analysis:

Nurse served as a healthy scratch for the Oilers for the first two games of the season before cracking the lineup for a pair of contests earlier this week. The 19-year-old likely would have remained with the club had he thrived in his first taste of NHL action, but he failed to make much of an impact, logging no points, five hits and a minus-2 rating over those two games. He'll likely spend the duration of the season at the junior level, though the Oilers could consider bringing him back in the second half.
