Blue Jackets' Dubinsky to miss 6 weeks after undergoing abdominal surgery

The Columbus Blue Jackets announced Wednesday that center Brandon Dubinsky will be out six weeks after undergoing abdominal surgery.
The injury was suffered during training camp and leaves the Blue Jackets without Dubinsky, Boone Jenner and Nathan Horton to start the season. Top center Ryan Johansen is also attempting to get up to speed after a prolonged contract negotiation.
Dubinsky ranked third on the team in scoring last season (16 goals, 34 assists) and will be greatly missed in the faceoff circle.
