Report: 7 teams interested in trading for Blackhawks' Leddy

As pressure mounts on the Chicago Blackhawks to slip beneath the hard cap, Nick Leddy might be experiencing a similar pinch.
Upwards of seven teams are reportedly interested in helping the Blackhawks fall into playable payroll parameters by trading for the sweet-skating defenseman, according to Sportsnet.
Chicago will drop below the salary limit if it can flip Leddy's $2.7-million salary. The Blackhawks are reportedly looking to get a prospect in a potential deal.
A restricted free agent this summer, Leddy's contract is as manageable as he is serviceable. He skated in all 82 games last season, scoring seven goals and notching 31 points while authoring a commendable 56.9 Corsi For rating.
