Price suffered a season-ending knee injury during Game 1 of the Eastern Conference finals, and later admitted suffering from heavy fatigue after a long season that included a gold-medal win at the Olympics. The 27-year-old posted 34 wins and a career-high .927 save percentage last season.
Montreal's first preseason game is set for Sept. 23 against the rival Boston Bruins.
