Report: Sharks sign John Scott to 1-year contract

The San Jose Sharks' latest foray into the free-agent pool reportedly resulted in the signing of noted face-puncher John Scott. 

Scott, a 6-foot-8, 270-pound monster of a man, played 56 games for the Buffalo Sabres in 2013-14, finding the back of the net once, while amassing 125 penalty minutes and countless face-punches.
