Canucks deal Jason Garrison to Lightning for 2nd-round pick

Mere moments after trading Ryan Kesler to the Anaheim Ducks, another veteran has been shipped out of Vancouver.
Jason Garrison agreed to waive his no-trade clause and has been dealt to the Tampa Bay Lightning for a second-round pick in this year's draft.
The move will shed $4.6 million off Vancouver's books in each of the next four seasons, providing ample cap room for general manager Jim Benning to continue his remodeling.
The Lightning will also receive the rights to Jeff Costello and a 7th-round pick in the deal.
