Flyers' Couturier on crutches after undergoing procedure to remove cyst

With the hockey world converging on Philadelphia for the 2014 NHL Entry Draft this weekend, Philadelphia Flyers forward Sean Couturier was spotted walking on crutches by inquiring eyes. This prompted Flyers general manager Ron Hextall to clarify Couturier's health status per CSNPhilly.com's Tim Panaccio:
Hextall said Couturier had a cyst removed from his foot. That's why he's wearing a wrap with crutches

So most likely Couturier underwent a surgical procedure to drain a ganglion cyst. If that's in fact the case, it would mark the second surgery of the offseason for Philadelphia's young, two-way ace.
