Lightning, Callahan agree to 6-year extension

The Tampa Bay Lightning have agreed to terms with pending free-agent forward Ryan Callahan on a six-year deal worth a reported $34.8 million:

Callahan, who came over at the trade deadline in exchange for Martin St. Louis, scored 11 points in 19 games with the Lightning last season.
