Islanders acquire Sharks defenseman Dan Boyle for conditional pick

The San Jose Sharks announced Thursday afternoon they traded the rights to defenseman Dan Boyle to the New York Islanders for a conditional 2015 fifth-round draft pick.

From the Sharks: "If Boyle re-signs with New York prior to the start of the 2014-15 regular season, the draft pick becomes a fourth-round selection in the 2015 NHL Draft."
