Ryan Getzlaf played two games with his jaw stitched up after being hit in the face by a puck in Game 1 against the Dallas Stars, but the Anaheim Ducks captain will not be in the lineup for Game 4 on Wednesday.

Getzlaf did not appear to suffer another injury during Game 3, which means his absence could be related to his facial wound not healing properly. He recorded a team-leading four points in the first three games of the series.
Apparently, Getzlaf returned to Anaheim in the afternoon to receive treatment for the undisclosed injury ahead of Game 5.
