GIF: Chris Chelios puts on a show at Winter Classic Alumni Game
Chris Chelios might be 51-years-old, but he's not actually that far removed from professional hockey. The ageless American-born defenseman last played professional hockey in April of 2010, and spent the 2009-10 season with the Atlanta Thrashers organization.
The well travelled former Montreal Canadiens, Chicago Blackhawks and Detroit Red Wings great scored the second goal of Tuesday afternoon's "alumni" game between former Red Wings and Maple Leafs players. Chelios finished off a slick feed from Igor "the professor" Larionov and celebrated his tally in fine style:
