Horachek has not been impressed with the mistake-prone defenseman during his short tenure with the club and finally decided to put Kulikov in order to atone for his poor play. Although Kulikov is only 23-years-old, he is quickly losing the promise that he displayed when he tallied 28 points in 58 games during the 2011-12 season. So far this season he has a goal and two assists in 27 games, while adding 35 PIM. He is only an option in really deep leagues at the moment.
