Noesen was called up from AHL San Diego on Tuesday.
Analysis:
The Ducks' roster moves are a bit baffling, to say the least -- Noesen and defenseman Shea Theodore return to the big club one day after being sent down, without having played a game in the minors. The Texas-born pivot will represent the 13th forward on the roster and isn't likely to break into a top-six role anytime soon.
