Predators' Filip Forsberg: Fails to contribute in OT loss to Devils
Forsberg skated a season-high 23:20 Saturday against the Devils, but came away with zero points in a 5-4 overtime loss.
Analysis:
Forsberg has now failed to crack the scoresheet in three consecutive games. However, we consider this just a blip on the radar for the talented young Swede. He continues to skate on the Preds' top line and sees plenty of power-play time, averaging just under three minutes per game. With a talented supporting cast that includes the likes of P.K. Subban and Ryan Johansen, it shouldn't be long before Forsberg once again starts to pile up the points -- he had 11 in 14 games in November, which puts him roughly on pace for another 60-65 point season, much like last year and the year before.
