Wild's Zack Mitchell: Healthy scratch
Mitchell was a healthy scratch in Friday's loss to Calgary. "He has good games and then he'll be inconsistent, which a lot of American League guys tend to do," head coach Bruce Boudreau told the Minneapolis Star Tribune. "He's played every position for us and hasn't hindered us. He was on his first goal against in the 10 games [in Vancouver]."
Analysis:
Mitchell led AHL Iowa with 22 goals and 42 points in 70 games last season, but doesn't have a point and just nine shots on goal in 10 games since being called up from AHL Iowa. It sounds like he could be on the bench most nights.
