McQuaid (upper body) has been cleared to play, per coach Claude Julien.

Analysis:

McQuaid is thus a candidate to come off IR in advance of Tuesday's game against the Wild, though it remains to be seen if he'll draw into the B's lineup for the contest. If he does, Joe Morrow could end up being the odd man out on the team's blue line.
