Islanders' Lee suffers apparent leg injury after being hit by slap shot

The New York Islanders could be without Anders Lee for a while.
Lee was hit by a slap shot taken by teammate Johnny Boychuk in the first period Thursday night against the New York Rangers, and he may have suffered a significant injury.

Lee left the game and didn't return after playing for about four minutes.
He appeared in all 80 games for the Islanders, scoring 15 goals and chipping in 21 assists.
