Report: Redskins hosting Anquan Boldin

The Washington Redskins are hosting veteran wide receiver Anquan Boldin on a free-agent visit, sources told Mike Jones of The Washington Post.

It's the first visit of what has been a surprisingly soft free agency period for Boldin, one of the most reliable NFL players over the past decade-plus.

Boldin spent the last three seasons with the San Francisco 49ers, the three before that with the Baltimore Ravens, and the seven before that with the Arizona Cardinals.

Over that 13-year span, he produced 13,195 yards receiving and 74 touchdowns.

Though Boldin's production dipped in 2015, it may be more the result of quarterback play than a decline in his abilities.
