Redskins-themed restaurant to open in Virginia

Washington Redskins fans will soon have a restaurant to call their own.

Hail Hog Kitchen & Tap, a 12,000-square-foot sports bar and restaurant paying homage to the history of the Redskins franchise, will open near the team's headquarters in Ashburn, Va., in late spring.

The first floor of the restaurant will feature locally sourced dishes and unique hand-crafted cocktails as well as a radio and TV studio for the Redskins to broadcast from. The second floor will have wall-to-wall 4K televisions, a rooftop bar, and a fire pit.

"The ability to connect with the community in a very real way through Hail Hog is a natural extension for us," Redskins executive vice president Terry Bateman said. "We are excited to partner with g3 to create a first-class venue where Redskins fans can come together with friends and family and celebrate the team's history."
