J.J. Watt is widely regarded as the NFL's best defensive player, but not everyone believed he would be a star pass-rusher coming out of college.

The Houston Texans defensive end joined "The Dan Patrick Show" on Thursday and was asked to read out some of his old scouting reports, which included lines like "Lacks some lateral mobility, both rushing the passer and playing in space" and "His recognition skills leave something to be desired."

New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees, who also made an appearance on the show, shared some of his own scouting reports on Instagram:

Just got done on Dan Patrick show..This was part of my draft report from NFL scouts that we read. Good stuff
