Broncos' Sanders, Panthers' Norman trade verbal jabs
The Denver Broncos and Carolina Panthers finally have some bulletin board material ahead of their Super Bowl 50 matchup.
In a week that's seen players from the two teams say all the right things in the media, a few players who will directly square off Sunday are starting to let their true feelings show.
Broncos wideout Emmanuel Sanders kicked things off Thursday morning. Sanders sounded annoyed to answer yet another question about Panthers cornerback Josh Norman before telling reporters Norman is a good player who "talked himself into the media."
Norman fired back at Sanders later Thursday, saying, "I haven't heard much about him so maybe he should go practice some more."
Norman added: "That's wide receivers for you. If they don't think they're the best, they're not doing their job."
Norman finished by saying Sanders' comments haven't gotten him particularly riled up, but indicated he could still get there.
"They haven't pushed the right buttons yet."
