Elvis Dumervil's trip to the Pro Bowl didn't exactly go as planned.

After managing to coordinate several connecting flights between Baltimore and Hawaii, Dumervil arrived at his destination only to find out that his bags had been left in Los Angeles.

"This is Delta, by the way," Dumervil said, according to the team's official website. "I was a little frustrated, but it was late at night, so I let it be."

Though the situation was supposed to be resolved the following day, the Ravens linebacker was instead greeted with a call to inform him that his bags had gone on another trip.

"'Sir, we have a problem,'" Dumervil said, recalling the phone call he received from an airline employee. "'Your bag has been checked to Japan.'

"I've never been to Japan, but the (darn) bag has,” Dumervil said, with a laugh. "I've been two days without my bags."

Dumervil finally ended up receiving his bags Thursday afternoon, three days in advance of his fifth-career appearance in the NFL's annual All-Star game.

"I just want to get through this game, come out safe, and have a good time," he said. "This has, by far, been the most interesting Pro Bowl."
