PHOTO: Luke Kuechly grants wish as date for 21st birthday party

Luke Kuechly is amazing on and off the field.

Jessica Hayes, a big fan of the Carolina Panthers linebacker, has cerebral palsy, autism, hydrocephalus, and is visually impaired. For her 21st birthday, she said her wish was "'to meet Carolina Panthers player Luke Kuechly and give him one of my famous hugs,'" her mother told WBTV.

Kuechly surprised Hayes with flowers and accompanied her to her birthday party, where her family and friends waited for her.

"I just like to think of myself as a normal guy," Kuechly said, according to WBTV report. "But if I can go down there and make her happy for her birthday, makes it fun and worth it."

He added, "(Hopefully) she's not thinking, 'Ooh ... I wanted Cam to come,'" he joked.
