Report: Steelers' Suisham expected to miss season with torn ACL

Mitch Stringer-US PRESSWIRE / Reuters

It looks as though the Pittsburgh Steelers are in the market for a new kicker.

Shaun Suisham suffered a torn ACL in Sunday's Hall of Fame Game against the Minnesota Vikings, according to Ed Bouchette of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

The 33-year-old was hurt on the second-half kickoff while making a tackle. He limped to the locker room shortly thereafter.

Suisham joined the Steelers in 2010 and has provided steady production in the often-hostile weather conditions at Heinz Field since then. He signed a four-year extension with the Steelers in August 2014.
