Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant would love an opportunity to play alongside running back Adrian Peterson.

"If that could happen I would love it," Bryant told TMZ.com on Sunday night after leaving The Palm in Beverley Hills. "We are both from East Texas. We believe in the same thing. Just as much as he love the game, I love the game the same way. I think it would be something very special."

Bryant isn't holding his breath, though.

"The Vikings not lettin' that happen, 'cause if they did, the league would know what would happen," Bryant said. "That man's a monster. He's something special."

The Cowboys were rumored to be among the teams showing interest in Peterson ahead of this year's draft, and Peterson himself even admitted that "it would be nice" to return home.

However, the Vikings have made it clear they have no intention of trading their star running back.
