Report: Buccaneers to release Solomon Patton

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are set to release wide receiver Solomon Patton on Monday, according to Aaron Wilson of the Baltimore Sun.
A 2014 undrafted free-agent signee, Patton was on and off the Buccaneers roster throughout his rookie year, contributing primarily as a kick and punt returner.
Patton appeared in each of the team's first six games to start the season before being cut, moving on to join the Arizona Cardinals and then returning to the Buccaneers in December.
With Patton's departure, running back Bobby Rainey will be the early favorite to take over kick and punt return duties in 2015.
