NFC West Notebook: Bennett missing offseason work; Fitzgerald remains confident

Seattle Seahawks

Wilson believes he could play two sports. Though he admits playing both football and baseball would be extremely difficult, Russell Wilson believes that if there's anyone who could do it, it's him.

Bennett sitting out offseason workouts. Michael Bennett isn't present for the beginning of the Seahawks' offseason workout program, and according to Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times, the defensive end is looking to renegotiate his contract.

Offensive line a priority. Teams rarely give much insight into their strategies heading into the draft, but Seahawks general manager John Schneider is fairly open about the fact that addressing the offensive line is a priority for his team next week.

Arizona Cardinals

Fitzgerald still confident in abilities. Larry Fitzgerald may be far closer to the end of his career than he is the beginning, but the longtime Cardinals wideout remains confident that he can play at a high level and help his team in 2015.

Arians pleased with roster. Head coach Bruce Arians is happy with the Cardinals' current roster after a productive few weeks of free agency, suggesting that the team is now in position to select the best players available in next week's draft.

Cardinals may not exercise Floyd's option. Though the team has yet to make a decision either way, and can still wait to do so until after the draft, Kent Somers of AZ Central suggests that the Cardinals may not pick up Michael Floyd's fifth-year contract option.

San Francisco 49ers

Breaking down 49ers' schedule. With the NFL's 2015 regular-season schedule now released, Tyler Emerick of 49ers.com takes an in-depth look at each of the 16 games on San Francisco's slate.

Hyde loses weight. Weighing in around 225 pounds, 10 pounds shy of his playing weight as a rookie, running back Carlos Hyde is drawing praise from general manager Trent Baalke.

St. Louis Rams

NFL hears stadium proposals. Stadium proposals in Inglewood, Carson and St. Louis were all heard at a league meeting Wednesday, Sam Farmer of the L.A. Times reports.
