The Miami Dolphins have signed defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh to a six-year, $114-million contract with $60 million guaranteed.
The $60-million guarantee is the highest ever given to a defensive player, topping J.J. Watt's $51.8 million.
Suh recorded 53 tackles and 8.5 sacks last season with the Detroit Lions. He will now be tasked with helping revamp the Dolphins' front seven alongside defensive end Cameron Wake.
A first-round draft pick of the Lions in 2010, Suh has racked up 239 tackles and 36 sacks in 78 career games.
