Report: Redskins closing in on 4-year contract with Stephen Paea

The Washington Redskins are close to agreeing on a four-year contract with defensive tackle Stephen Paea, according to Jen Lada of CSNChicago.
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports that Paea has told people that he'll sign with the Redskins once free agency officially commences.
Paea has spent his entire four-year career with the Chicago Bears, and has been one of the few standouts on a porous defense.
The 26-year-old recorded 33 tackles, six sacks and two forced fumbles last season.
Paea is an excellent pass-rusher for a defensive tackle, and wouldn't be out of place in a 3-4 or 4-3 defense, but has more familiarity with the latter scheme.
