Report: Seahawks openly question play calling after Super Bowl loss

Several Seattle Seahawks players were reportedly heard openly questioning the team's playcalling after a 28-24 Super Bowl loss to the New England Patriots, according to multiple reports.
Although some of the angry players weren't named, Josh Katzenstein of the Detroit News quoted Seahawks cornerback Tharold Simon as saying, "How do you throw the ball when you got Marshawn Lynch?"
Wide receiver Doug Baldwin also struggled to understand what happened at the one-yard line saying, "I don't know ... I am just trying to come with something ..." before giving up on the explanation.
Linebacker Bruce Irvin couldn't believe the decision. "I don't understand how you don't give the best running back in the league the ball at the one-yard line. Not even at the one," he said.
Cornerback Richard Sherman was also asked about his team's decision to throw the ball down at the goal line. "I'm a little bit surprised. It was an unfortunate play," he said, according to Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times.
Head coach Pete Carroll, offensive coordinator Darell Bevell and quarterback Russell Wilson have all attempted to take the blame for the interception that cost the Seahawks the game.
The man who most assumed would be getting the ball - Lynch - wasn't surprised at the play, telling Aditi Kinkhabwala of the NFL Network, "No" when she asked him and adding "because football is a team sport."
