Report: NFL acknowledges multiple teams are interested in moving to L.A.

As the deadline for NFL teams to file relocation paperwork draws closer, league executive Eric Grubman acknowledged that multiple teams have the intention of moving to Los Angeles, according to CBS Sports's Jason La Canfora.

With the St. Louis Rams and Oakland Raiders among the teams rumored to be looking to relocate to the City of Angels, Grubman, who is overseeing the NFL's L.A. initiative, made it clear to owners that the league still holds all the power when it comes to where a team ultimately lands.

Even if a team isn't installed in Los Angeles by the beginning of the 2015 campaign, La Canfora figures a team will be playing in the Rose Bowl on an interim basis by 2016 while awaiting the construction of a new stadium.
