Bengals' Jermaine Gresham says Saints fan 'should be ashamed'

Cincinnati Bengals tight end Jermaine Gresham abides by a strict code of honor.

Gresham scored a one-yard touchdown during the third quarter of Sunday's game against the New Orleans Saints. The Bengals' tight end flipped the ball to Christa Barrett, a Bengals fan, who had traveled from Kentucky to New Orleans to support her team.

However, Gresham's toss was intercepted by Saints fan Tony Williams, who refused to give the ball up to Barrett.

Gresham wasn't pleased with the outcome.

"He should be ashamed of himself, and you can put that on the record," Gresham said after the game.

The Saints presented Barrett with a ball after the game, while Williams kept his undeserved souvenir.

"I didn't mean to hit that young lady. I was just reaching for the football. I didn't mean to hurt the lady," Williams said.

You could have just given the football back, Tony. The Bengals defeated the Saints, 27-10.
