Travis Kelce: Posts 8-93-1 Receiving Line

Kelce caught 8-of-9 targets for 93 yards and a touchdown in Monday's 41-14 win over the Patriots.

Analysis:

One week after scoring his first touchdown, Kelce had the big breakout game that everyone was waiting for. In addition to catching a bunch of intermediate passes, he surprisingly hauled in a few screens while split out wide. His touchdown came on a two-yard pass to give the Chiefs a 34-7 lead early in the fourth quarter. Kelce should stay heavily involved in the offense, as the Chiefs aren't exactly loaded with weapons in the passing game. It doesn't hurt that he's one of the league's more athletic players, possessing unusual speed and agility for a 6-5, 260-pounder. Kelce should have some more big days ahead, but owners would be wise to remember that he's still playing in a run-first offense that doesn't do much downfield passing.
