Minnesota quarterback Teddy Bridgewater was taken to the locker room during the fourth quarter of Sunday's game against the Atlanta Falcons with an ankle injury.
He was replaced on the field by Christian Ponder.
The rookie pivot returned to the bench later in the closing minutes of the game, but stayed on the sidelines as the Vikings nursed a 10 point lead (a lead they eventually stretched to 13).
Before the injury, Bridgewater was 19-of-30 for 317 yards.
