Stephen Tulloch says he'd celebrate again despite tearing ACL

Detroit Lions linebacker Stephen Tulloch is a man without regrets.

Tulloch tore his ACL after celebrating a sack during the Lions' win over the Green Bay Packers in Week 3. The Lions' linebacker imitated Aaron Rodgers' 'Discount Doublecheck' dance, and tore his ACL after jumping in the air.

That would deter most players from being exuberant on the field, but Tulloch is not that type of guy.

"I'd do it again, brother. You do it every time," Tulloch said to Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press. "If it's going to happen, it's going to happen. Just a matter of time."

In spite of the injury, Tulloch remains optimistic about his career.

"Nine years without missing a game is kind of crazy, but like I said, I'm positive because I believe in my hard work, I believe in my training and what I do in the offseason and how I approach things, so I know I'll be back even better than before."

The Lions take on the New York Jets on Sunday.
