After missing the past two games with a nerve issue in his right shoulder, Arizona Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer is set to return to the field following the team's Week 4 bye.

"I'm fired up to be 3-0. I'll definitely be ready against Denver," Palmer told ESPN via text message.

Palmer resumed throwing Wednesday, and said he has been at the Cardinals' training facility every day during the bye week preparing for his comeback.

"It's super important to get 100 percent before we start preparing for Week 5,'' he said. "I'm fired up to be healthy and can't wait.''

The Cardinals are off until Monday, but head coach Bruce Arians said Palmer will continue to throw throughout the weekend "as treatment." He hopes to have Palmer back to normal for Monday's practice.
