  • You never want to overreact to one week of fantasy production, but Jordy Nelson is a Golden God. Aaron Rodgers favorite receiver hauled in nine passes for 209 yards and a touchdown against the Jets and as long as he can stay healthy, he will be a top-5 receiver at the end of the year.
  • Brandon Marshall is one of the most durable receivers in the NFL, having missed just five games in his eight-plus seasons. Dealing with an injury, Marshall took the field last week and delivered a three-touchdown performance. He only tallied 48 yards, but when you score three touchdowns, your yardage really doesn't matter. Now Marshall gets an extra day of rest, before taking on the Jets on Monday night. That's the same Jets team that allowed Nelson's big day.
  • Mike Wallace is a low-end WR1 until further notice.
  • You have to think the Vikings are going to find ways to get Cordarrelle Patterson more involved. After an explosive Week 1, Patterson was an afterthought in a blowout loss to the Patriots last Sunday. With Adrian Peterson out of the picture, Minnesota will need to rely on Patterson's playmaking ability if they are going to remain competitive this season.
  • Marques Colston's zero line in Week 2 was disappointing, but don't be scared off. He will bounce back in the team's home opener this week.
  • After a quiet debut, Sammy Watkins announced his true arrival with an eight-catch, 117-yard, one-touchdown day in a win over the Dolphins. Watkins is a major talent, but he will still post up-and-down numbers due to his quarterback and scheme. He's still an exciting WR3, with high-end WR2 upside.
  • DeSean Jackson is dealing with a shoulder injury, but that shouldn't prevent him from taking on his former team. Jackson hasn't done much in his first two games with the Redskins, but he strikes me as a player that will be extremely motivated by the opportunity to show the Eagles they made a mistake letting him go.
  • Brian Quick has done enough that it's time to trust him in your starting lineup. Did I mention he's playing the Cowboys this week?
  • This may be your last chance to snag Cecil Shorts at a discount. When healthy, Shorts has proved he can produce for fantasy owners and the Jaguars will have plenty of garbage time for him to rack up numbers in 2014.
